Zado

Your agents shop all week. You review on the weekend.

Zado is an ADHD-friendly money app and the consumer-side trust layer for AI agents that spend on your behalf. Envelope budgeting, an AI coach, and a human approval gate that asks before anything important moves.

“We review the budget on the weekends and our agents shop all week. This is not today’s reality but it will be the reality in the next 3 years.”

What you get

Envelope budgeting

Visual envelopes for every dollar — no spreadsheets, no shame columns. Built so an ADHD brain can read it in one glance.

AI coach

Claude in a coach voice that explains your money in plain language. No lectures, no jargon, no “you should have”.

Receipt automation

Forward an email or photograph a slip; Zado matches it to the transaction and files it. Email forwarding, Stripe Issuing, and manual capture all converge in one ledger.

Agent permissions

Connect your AI agents through the open Zado MCP. Set spend thresholds, approve purchases by SMS, and keep a full audit of every dollar an agent touches.

The Human Approval Gate

When an agent wants to spend more than you delegated, Zado pauses the transaction and texts you:

Your agent wants to spend $250.00 on groceries and your budget says you have $200.00 allowed for the week. Do you want to allow this — and if so do you want me to set up a reminder to move money in the budget?

Reply YES to approve, NO to decline, or STOP to opt out of SMS at any time. Every decision is audited; nothing settles without your consent.

An open protocol, not a closed app

The Zado Agent Trust Protocol is published openly under CC-BY 4.0. Any agent that speaks MCP can integrate. Zado is an AP2 v0.2 Trusted Surface in the Trusted Agent Provider model — the standardized role for the consumer-side trust layer in agent commerce.

Agent integration is one line: pip install zado-mcp
